This comprehensive kit includes a ConnectorX device, a compatible LED cable, choice of LED matrix, and a 32gb micro SD card, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance right from the start.
Matrix panel plus controller
Controller and panel together
A ConnectorX family board, a WS2812B matrix panel, and the JST-SM cable between them. Size your matrix zone in Studio to match the physical grid.
Motion Editor workflows
Import GIFs into Lumyn Studio, add shapes, text, and drawings, and preview image sequences at your panel resolution before export.
Scrolling matrix text
Push status text from the API or test scrolling messages in LED Commander. Matrix zones support image sequences and LLA animation files.
5 V from the board
The ConnectorX regulator powers the matrix over DATA, +5 V, and GND. Do not run a separate 5 V supply to the panel.
Image sequences in Studio
The Motion Editor supports GIF import, shapes, text, drawings, layers, and frame-by-frame edits. Add the sequence to a device configuration so Studio can export it at the exact resolution of your matrix zone.

What is in the box?
A ConnectorX family board, a WS2812B matrix panel, and a 3-pin JST-SM adapter cable. Exact matrix dimensions depend on the variant you select.
ConnectorX needs a FAT32 microSD card to boot. It is included if your variant lists one; otherwise supply a separate card for config.json and image-sequence assets.
How do I match Studio to the panel?
Create a matrix zone with the same rows and columns as your physical panel. Set origin and layout in Studio so image sequences and scrolling text map to the correct pixels.
Will any matrix work?
WS2812B matrices only. This bundle ships panels wired for ConnectorX DATA, +5 V, and GND outputs.
