ConnectorX LED Strip Bundle
ConnectorX, an LED strip, an LED cable and a 32 GB microSD card.
- Controller
- ConnectorX, headers selectable
- LEDs
- Strip, length selectable
- Also included
- LED cable + 32 GB microSD
1 LED channel, up to 320 LEDs, and a 3 A regulator. Connect supported sensors over five interfaces.
SKU 00003
$49.99 without headers, $54.99 with headers. Headers are the pre-soldered pins for plugging in wires.
Works with SystemCore and WPILib 2027 over USB, and with the roboRIO on the 2026 vendordep.
For setup: a USB data cable and Chrome or Edge on a compatible computer. For LED output: a 12 V supply. A FAT32 microSD card stores configuration and assets.

Choose a strip or a matrix. Both bundles include the controller, an LED cable, and a 32 GB microSD card.

One LED channel for up to 320 WS2812B LEDs, with I2C, SPI, UART, DIO, and analog for distance sensors, limit switches, and custom peripherals.
Connect over USB for Lumyn Studio and SDKs, or use UART with a configurable baud rate when your project needs serial.
Configure zones, modules, and animation sequences in the browser. Use LED Commander to test your strip or matrix animations before calling the API from your project.
Fire, Fireworks, Plasma, Digital Rain, and 33 more animations make it easy to add lighting effects without writing any code. Chain steps into sequences, then call them by zone name from the API.
Install the Lumyn Labs vendordep from the WPILib menu in VS Code. Load your Lumyn Studio configuration, register modules, and drive LEDs with the same zone IDs you defined in Lumyn Studio.
Push per-pixel buffers from the API when prebuilt animations are not enough. ConnectorX also supports a custom firmware path for teams that want to own the animation stack.

Register modules in Lumyn Studio with IDs that match your API calls. Built-in support includes VL53L1X time-of-flight distance, digital inputs, and analog inputs. SPI and UART buses are available for custom peripherals.
Module callbacks and LED commands use the same configuration file from Lumyn Studio.

Connect power and USB, open Lumyn Studio, and read the live device configuration. LED Commander fills in command types from that config so you can test strip and matrix animations before calling the API from your project.
Choose ConnectorX when you need one LED channel plus module buses for sensors and custom peripherals. Choose ConnectorX Animate when the project needs four LED channels or a larger LED count.
USB-C is enough for Lumyn Studio setup. For LED output, supply 12 V to the board. The onboard regulator supplies 5 V to connected WS2812B hardware.
The regulator gives 3 A, which lights about 50 LEDs at full white. Most animations draw far less, and the board dims itself to stay under its limit.
A FAT32 microSD card is required: ConnectorX keeps its configuration on it. Lumyn Studio saves the configuration to the card over USB, so you leave the card in the board. On firmware 4.4 a new configuration takes effect right away, with no restart.
You can also export config.json from Lumyn Studio and copy it to the card root.
Built-in firmware support includes VL53L1X distance sensors over I2C, digital inputs, and analog inputs. SPI and UART are available for custom module work. Register modules in Lumyn Studio with IDs that match your API calls.
